Application & Admission

Applications must be submitted exclusively via the application form on our website.
Participants for active participation are selected by the respective masterclass teacher on the basis of the submitted application materials. There is no entitlement to admission.
Once the selection process has been completed, you will receive written notification of acceptance or rejection by email. Participation becomes binding only upon receipt of our confirmation of admission.

Application Deadline

The application deadline is stated on the respective masterclass page.
If places remain available after the application deadline, later applications may be considered on an individual basis.

Masterclass/Course Fees

Upon admission, a registration fee of €100 becomes due. This fee secures your place and covers administrative costs associated with the application and organisation of the masterclass.
If you participate as scheduled, the registration fee will be credited in full towards the masterclass fee and is not refundable.
The remaining masterclass fee must be paid within the payment period stated on the invoice.
If funding or scholarships are available, these will be passed on directly to participants and may reduce the masterclass fee.

Accommodation and Meals

Depending on the venue, different accommodation and catering options are available.
The services included in the respective masterclass are specified in the masterclass description.

Repertoire

Unless otherwise stated in the masterclass description, participants are free to choose their repertoire.
Please provide as complete a list as possible of the works you intend to prepare when submitting your application. Changes may be made at any time in consultation with us.

Cancellation by the Participant

Cancellations must be made in writing.
The registration fee of €100 that has already been paid is non-refundable, irrespective of the date of cancellation.
The following cancellation fees also apply:
•    up to 6 weeks before the start of the masterclass: no cancellation fee
•    up to 3 weeks before the start of the masterclass: 50% of the masterclass fee
•    less than 3 weeks before the start of the masterclass or in the event of non-attendance: 100% of the masterclass fee
If the place that becomes available can be filled by another person from the waiting list or by a replacement participant, we generally waive the cancellation fee.

Cancellation by the Kunstgriff Academy

If a masterclass has to be cancelled due to insufficient participant numbers, illness of a teacher or other important reasons, any masterclass fees already paid will be refunded in full.
No further claims exist, in particular for reimbursement of travel or accommodation expenses.

Photography and Video Recordings

Photographs and video recordings may be made during masterclasses and concerts for documentation and public relations purposes of the Kunstgriff Academy.
When taking and publishing such recordings, we comply with the applicable legal requirements. Participants may inform us at any time if they do not wish to be photographed or filmed.

Liability

Participation is at your own risk.
To the extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for instruments, valuables or personal belongings brought to the masterclass.

Data Protection

Personal data is processed exclusively for the purposes of handling applications and conducting the masterclass.

Final Provisions

German law applies.
Should individual provisions of these Terms and Conditions be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
